The princeps pollicis artery is a blood vessel which supply the thumb with oxygenated blood. It originates from the deep palmar arch, then it descends between the first dorsal interosseous muscle and the oblique head of the adductor pollicis. As the princeps pollicis artery runs along the sides of the thumb, it gives off the radial volar and the ulnar volar arteries of the thumb.
