Septomarginal tract

The septomarginal fasciculus, or tract, is an oval-shaped bundle of myelinated axonic fibers that is found deep in the dorsal portion of the spinal cord. It is surrounded by the gracile and the cuneate fasciculi and the spinal cord grey matter. Function: the septomarginal tract is a descending nervous pathway which conveys motor nervous impulses.
