Medial Orbital Gyrus

The medial orbital gyrus is a small cerebral convolution situated on the inferior surface of the frontal lobe, lying between the straight gyrus (gyrus rectus) and the anterior and posterior gyri. It is continuous with the middle frontal gyrus. The medial orbital gyrus is separated from the gyrus rectus by a well-marked antero-posterior sulcus, the olfactory sulcus, for the olfactory tract.
