Aortic Vestibule

The aortic vestibule is the superior part of the heart left ventricle, situated immediately below the aortic orifice, allowing room for segments of the closed aortic valve and leading into the root of the aorta. Forming part of the outflow tract of the left ventricle, the walls of the aortic vestibule are fibrous and not muscular like the walls of the rest of the chamber.
