Suprascapular Artery

The suprascapular artery arises from thyrocervical trunk, which in turn comes off the subclavian artery. It runs roughly parallel to the clavicle through the lateral cervical region and a cross the tansverse ligament of the scapula to the supra- and infraspinatus muscles. The suprascapular artery supplies the clavicular, deltoid and scapular regions.
