Coenzyme Q10

The coenzyme Q10, or ubiquinone, is a fat-soluble nutrient, which is found in the cell mitochondria as an electron carrier in cellular respiration. Within this organelle, the coenzyme Q10 participates in reactions which supply energy to the cell, being also an antioxidant component of the lipid membrane which surround the cell. Without this coenzyme human life would be terminated.
